How to Use TRACpac (The Regional Automation Consortium)

THE ONLINE DATABASE
A catalogue of 3 million books, DVDs and other materials from over 150 libraries in Alberta.
Renew , Search for New Titles, and Place Holds on Books, DVDs, CDs, and more.
STEP 1: You will need your library card barcode number. If you have misplaced your card, call the library at (780) 689-4161 and we can provide you with your barcode number.
STEP 2: Log on to TRACpac to access your account.
LOG-ON HERE:

Step 3: Fill in the requested information.
Username: [insert library card barcode here]
Password: [insert last 4 digits of your phone number*]
*IMPORTANT: Use the phone number written on your library membership form. Feel free to call the library if you are experiencing any difficulties and we can re-enter a new number on your account.
Example: Username or Barcode: 20800000012345
Password: 4161
Step 4: Once you are logged in, explore the options on your page.
Click "Items Out" to review what items you have out or to renew your items up to 2 times.
Click "Requests" to see what items you have on hold.
Click "Fines & Fees" to see your account balance. NOTE: You will need to come into the library to pay any overdue fees.
Step 5: SEARCH
Click "SEARCH" at the top of the page to find items to order or "place on hold".
Materials come in on Thursdays at 2:00pm, but we advise you wait until Friday for an automated message on your answering machine informing you of items that have arrived for you.
Normally, it takes 1-2 weeks for materials to come in, but depending on the popularity of the item, it may take up to a month.
NOTE: You can also update your TRACpac account by adding an e-mail address. Receive e-mails when items are approaching the due-date or when items have come in for you.
